This is a repost from drinks.seriouseats.com, with a great analysis about what’s in store for craft brewing in 2013. While we’re already in April (can you believe it?), I’ve noticed some of these already, especially CANS. More and more we’re seeing canned craft beers, and I don’t think this is merely a fad. I’ll never forget being handed my first Big Swell IPA from Maui Brewing, or drinking my first Dale’s Pale Ale from Oskar Blues or the sweet Hell or High Watermelon from 21st Amendment. These craft brewers only focus on canning, unlike many other major brewers, who are now also canning their beers. Such as New Belgium, and Flying Dog (who I just recently posted about).
Take note of the trends, and get excited! 2013 is going great for craft brewing, and it’s only going to get better!
