Tonight I will be hosting the Twitter Bottle Share, a weekly beer chat online. Every week there is a theme, either covering a style, specific beer, or brewery. I chose bock-style beers as it is one I’m more unfamiliar with, and would like to explore more. Also, I chose this style as we are approaching spring, and the Lent season which is what bocks were originally brewed for. Bocks have enough sustainable nutrients in them, so German monks would brew this to sustain them during fasting for Lent, and other religious reasons. This is the 54th chat, and I can’t wait!
