I recently drank an Imperial Tanilla Porter from Knee Deep Brewing, and while sipping on this high ABV porter, it reminded me fall was on its way. I’m not the biggest pumpkin fan, so stouts and porters are more of my fall/winter beers. This beer had almost a year on it, and with a high gravity it still had a strong alcohol bite, but went down very smooth. Delicious!
I’m looking forward to Stone Brewing’s release of Suede, an imperial porter with honey and jasmine. Also, I’m trying to get my hands on Firestone Walker’s annual Velvet Merkin. Which high gravity porters and stouts are you looking forward to this season?
