Devastatingly Dank

Wow, Stone Brewing has done it again. It’s an IPA, that definitely reminds me of wet hop IPAs that Sierra Nevada has done in the past. It’s very smooth at the first sip, almost too easy like an amber-style ale, then the bitter hops linger, aaaannd linger. The 4/20 jokes can definitely be applied here, because some of the aroma and floral notes are reminiscent to a piece of bud. They are cousins with hops, after all. I’m very lucky to have had this on draft this evening, as I’m sure the carbonation from the draft made all the difference in terms of the fresh flavour. If you can find this beer before it sells out, do not pass it up!
